Learning Environment:
Theoretical facilitation to be delivered in a U-type sitting Arrangement. Practice to be conducted in Cargo Simulator.
Goal:
Provide attendees with knowledge, understanding and proficiency in monitoring the loading, stowage, securing and unloading of cargoes (Petroleum / Chemical)
Objectives:
- Operation of Cargo handling equipment.
- Understand segregation and the dangers of the cargoes.
- Planning of cargo and ballasting operations.
- Teamwork at watch keeping and cargo handling and in emergency conditions.
