Goal:

Master and Officers to comprehend the logic of the COLREG and be able to analyse different scenarios to ability to set safe actions.

Objectives:

1. Understand the main causes of collisions
2. Responsibility of the OOW.
3. Situational Awareness & Look-Out (Rule 5)
4. Setting safe speed
5. Recognize the Risk of Collision
6. Utilize RADAR effectively to filter the risk of collision
7. Act or Wait: Action to avoid collision
