Objectives:

1. Understand the ECDIS system overview.
2. Operate the system with all available functions in order to navigate safely.
3. Utilize the system’s display setup.
4. Understanding and applying Safety values.
5. Recognize alarms and malfunction indicators and actions to be taken.
6. Planning and safety check for a route.
7. Comprehending: ENC and symbols, SCAMIN, Compilation scale, AIO, Isolated danger mark.
8. Utilizing lookahead cone/guard zone
9. Monitor route
